The Face of the World Is Changing - Well at least My World in Fort Lauderdale

I have not left the office before 10pm one night this week...and that is a good thing.  It means we are excessively busy.

If not for my morning paper, I really don't know what is going on in the world. Unless someone stops by my Coral Springs office to share the latest news.

ScoripoI get up this morning to discover that after 52 yeas of being known as a, "SCORPIO"...I am not one any more, I like the strength of my Scorpio tail.  Because the moon, sun, earth and stars have shifted....I am now a, "LIBRA".  I DO NOT WANT TO BE LIBRA (likely because I know nothing about them).

Maybe the scales will bring me more balance in my life. Libra

Not earth shattering and I really don't have time to worry, because I have to get to the gym.

Before I leave, I read about how many more homeless people are congregating at the parks in Fort Lauderdale, waiting for a hot meal and how school assistance programs in Palm Beach county are up 62%, I am now sad, because I know so many who are struggling (I had my own fair share of struggles as well, but I am not homeless and my kids have jobs, so they are fed.)

Lastly I read that a golfer at a nice local country club, was shot in an attempted robbery, while playing.  I love to play golf, if I can squeeze it in.  Lady GolferNow I wonder, if it is no longer safe to play golf.  I probably shouldn't worry too much about that one as I only manage to play about 8 times a year.

As the world changes, I continue my routine and try not to worry too much, because I have customers that need my attention to satisfy their real estate needs, and I need to be focused on this.

In my heart, I want to do more to help those that are hurting.  As soon as I figure out what a LIBRA does, I'll get to this  ;-)  Not true, as I have always believed in the one who created the stars, earth, moon and sun, more than the stars themselves.  This is where I get my strength, my faith, that we are loved and cared about in every corner of our ever changing world.
